Interpretation Centre of Eastern Asturian culture though Gamoneu cheese.
First of all, for the design of this interactive museography project, we created a name made up of two words: Gamoneu and Museu = Gamuseu. In addition to an isotype, a blue circle to represent this round “blue” cheese.
Our goal was to create interactive spaces used to connect the concepts of the inside and the outside. These are two very important concepts for shepherds who produce the cheese, as they are locked in their cabins for 6 months and then spend 6 months in the mountains. We wanted to talk about their ancestral lifestyle with contemporary means, to tell the story of cheese manufacturing from antiquity to today.
